How to Choose the Right Childbirth Prep Class for You
with Kristin Milner Evans

Are you baffled by the many types of childibirth preparation classes out there?
Have you read the class descriptions, but still can't tell which might be the best fit for you and your partner?
Have specific questions about what it included in each type of class, and/or what the partner's role is?

"Lamaze" has come to be used as a generic term for childbirth preparation, but over the years, many different styles of helping parents-to-be prepare for labor and birth have been developed to be of greater help to modern families. The type of class that will be most helpful to you, as an individual, will depend greatly on your goals, personality, and preferences regarding things like,
- Planning on pain meds, Dead-set against them, Not sure or not committed one way or the other,
- Partner/Husband wanting a very active role, Partner is a nervous wreck, Partner wants to be involved, but not pressured,
- Hospital Birth, Home Birth, and/or working with an Obstetrician or Midwife, considering a Doula or other additional support.

This talk and question & answer session will help you sort out which you feel is your best fit.
