Feel like you have a million questions and only the internet to reassure (or terrify) you? Your pregnant body/brain knows it needs to collect wisdom, nest/prepare practically, and make real connections for support, encouragement, and understanding. Let it! Harmony understands this pregnancy process, and how important it is for mamas connect with local pregnancy & parenting experts and other moms-to-be, to trade info, to hear and share the uniqueness of each woman's experience, as well as to connect over their many similarities. The Pregnant Mamas gathering is a time for you to make those connections, ask those questions, and cultivate whatever you are seeking... friends, information, options, and resources. We can provide local resources and tips on little things, like what to buy, and big things -- which seems like EVERYTHING when you are pregnant! -- like choosing (or changing) doctors or midwives, ways to help nausea or trouble sleeping, considering how you hope to give birth, and so much more. You can vent, laugh, question, share candidly, and know you are in a safe, supportive community of women. And in keeping with the Harmony philosophy, you will be supported in finding your own best path, while having the opportunity to hang out, chat, and support other women who are growing their knowledge, experience, belly, and baby along with you. Share a cup of tea, and connect! Facilitated by Allana Moore, a Harmony birth & baby prep instructor, experienced childbirth assistant, and mother of two. Open for drop-in for all expectant moms. A donation of $5-$15, if you can, is appreciated.
