 Lee GentryItsy Bitsy Yoga (y espanol) - Tykes Harmony Administrative Assistant Lee Gentry’s passion in life is interacting with and teaching children of all ages. She has a Master of Arts in Elementary Education, a Bachelor’s in both Elementary Education and Spanish and is certified as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, which she has taught for the past five years. After spending six months in San Miguel de Allende, she has returned to the States to incorporate and share her love of the Spanish language. Her intent is to become involved with children and families in the Bay area and aid in preparing the next generation for the challenges and excitement that exist within a diverse population of multi-lingual individuals and cultures. Lee has also found through her many years of personal yoga practice, that yoga can be a perfect foundation and vehicle for supporting and encouraging the development, creativity, and cooperatvie play of toddlers and young children. To this end, she completed the Itsy Bitsy Yoga® teacher training, which she has taught at Baby Moon in Lexington, KY, and now brings, along with her warmth, experience, and enthusiasm, to the families at Harmony. |
