Bridget's goal in providing women with informative and compassionate breast feeding information and support is to enable women to feel empowered and in control of their bodies and ultimately their life.

She is trained and in the certification process to become an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) for she feels this will further establish a health care model which is mother/baby friendly. Bridget is a member of Le Leche League international, Nursing Mother's Council and International Lactation Consultants Association.

Bridget's interest in breastfeeding was born through her direct connection to it after the birth of her daughter. It was Bridget's realization that with this miracle of life, in bearing a child in her womb, it was only a natural progression to nourish her daughter from her body upon her immersion into the outside world. This is where the theory of the 'fourth trimester' plays such an important role to Bridget and the women she assists and educates.

Bridget also serves as Sweet Herb Medicinals’ chief herbalist. Her training has been diverse and extensive in the areas of herbal studies and humanities, with special emphasis on human anatomy and physiology. She has earned a degree in Humanities and a Master Herbalist Diploma from the Australasian College of Health Sciences. Bridget is a Mother, Wife, Master Herbalist, Lactation Consultant, gardener and world traveler.
