This is an open mom's group, for breastfeeding moms to connect
with other moms who understand this amazing and challenging time!

Breastfeeding your baby can be an incredible and rewarding experience for both you and your baby, but getting there is not easy for many moms and babies. Often it takes time (days, weeks, or even months) and the help of others before you and your baby get in sync and find your best fit together.

This group is a chance for moms to get out of their routine, and share their joys, challenges, questions, wisdom, and experiences with other moms in the supportive, small group environment at Harmony.

In addition to general sharing, this is a great place for questions about milk supply, engorgement, mastitis, and thrush (to name a few) that moms can learn to prevent or find safe ways to treat, since our breastfeeding group also offers a safe and comfortable way to get the support and help of a trained Lactation Consultant.

Many women have questions about whether their baby is getting enough food, or just like the chance to weigh her/him to reassure themselves (or sometimes to reassure their concerned family members).

Come have a cup of tea and share, complain, laugh, or cry with others who can understand, and learn some new tips and techniques to make your life a little easier and your bond with your child stronger and more relaxed.
