Writing Your Birth Story
with Guidance from a Writing Teacher - and Mother
Have you thought about honoring your birth experience by writing your Birth Story, but haven't yet found the time? Or would you like to turn your memories or journal entries into a more polished story, but you're not sure how?
If you would like to write a Birth Story that touches those who read it
and conveys some of the power that the arrival of your child holds for you,
this workshop can help.
The first session will help you access memories and will include writing time and structured small-group assistance. In the second class you will learn specific revision techniques, receive guidance on achieving the style and tone you are seeking, and have time to write/revise.
The goal is to leave with a meaningful piece of writing that is polished in parts, perhaps even finished! You needn’t consider yourself a writer in order to come write your story(ies) in a fun and supportive environment.
This 2-part workshop is offered quarterly. Minimum enrollment is 3, maximum 9.
$35 per mom
