Bridget's interest in breastfeeding was born through her direct connection to it after the birth of her daughter. It was Bridget's realization that with this miracle of life, in bearing a child in her womb, it was only a natural progression to nourish her daughter from her body upon her immersion into the outside world. This is where the theory of the 'fourth trimester' plays such an important role to Bridget and the women she assists and educates. Bridget Owen serves as Sweet Herb Medicinals’ chief herbalist. Her training has been diverse and extensive in the areas of herbal studies and humanities, with special emphasis on human anatomy and physiology. She has earned a degree in Humanities and a Master Herbal Degree from the Australasian College of Health Sciences. Bridget also obtained her certification as an Herbalist and completed an apprenticeship program in the natural healing properties of plants.
