New Mom's Yoga: Returning to Balance
Drop-In format - no advance registration required!

Created to offer women - without their babies - the opportunity to reconnect with other moms and themselves through breath, asana, and relaxation after the journey of birth. This class offers moms a time just for them. A time where they needn’t worry about the next diaper change, feed, or how to soothe their child.

It is vital for women to take time for themselves, to rediscover themselves and to truly honor their own power and beauty. Women and new moms are often expected to "have it all together" and sail through the transition from woman to mother, when in reality, it is a time when a woman’s true sense of self can become lost.

Moms must refill their own cup, in order to have something to give. Come stretch and breathe deeply in your own body. You deserve to treat yourself to a little bit of you!

Prior yoga experience is not necessary, as classes are tailored to individual needs. "New Mom" is loosely defined as any mom between 6 weeks and 36 months postpartum and need not be a first-time mom.


Moms find they get the most out of this class when they come each week, but the drop-in format allows for a little bit of flexibility, when their schedule just does not allow on a particular week

Registration is not necessary for drop-in classes. Please feel free to come on any of the above days/times. The first time you attend yoga class at Harmony, please allow a few minutes before the class start time to complete a brief intake card.
